The School House
Nestled on a river terrace at the quiet end of the beautiful Tukituki Valley, Havelock North, The School House (Originally the Hastings School hall, built in 1895) has been relocated and lovingly restored to its former glory. The heart of The School House is a large open-plan living room with a full kitchen and a spacious double bedroom with en-suite at each end. Designed to sleep two couples in luxury, there are also two king single beds and a fold-out sofa bed (to comfortably sleep eight) and the building is wheelchair friendly. All doors open out to a large verandah with beautiful views overlooking the valley. The library features a fine selection of quality books, magazines and DVDs. The Tukituki River renowned for its trout-fishing is only a stroll away down a private path. There is safe paddocking for your horses if you are here for eventing or trekking.
